Cattle tick is a significant cause of economic loss to the Australian cattle industry1. After application, the ivermectin in Ivomec LV Pour-On enters the animal's bloodstream and is ingested by ticks when they take a blood meal. Maximum tick efficacy is achieved 4-5 days after treatment. Engorged female ticks that drop from cattle in the initial days after treatment may lay viable eggs. This should be taken into account when planning a strategic tick control program.

Marks-Min Copper Free Injectable Trace Mineral with Vitamin B12 for Cattle & Sheep contains selenium, zinc, manganese and vitamin B12, which are required for optimal health, production and fertility.
Sub-optimal trace mineral and vitamin B12 status at parturition and mating has been shown to negatively impact production, reproduction and health.
Optimising trace element status relying solely on oral supplements may fail as a result of variation in individual intake and reduced absorption because of antagonism of other ration components and minerals to these essential trace elements.
Using an injectable supplement can improve trace mineral and vitamin B12 status at these critical times, promoting a healthy immune system, which is important in resisting disease, and has a positive impact on reproduction.

Avomec Duel broad-spectrum drench for sheep is a dual combination antiparasitic drench containing 1g/L abamectin and 50g/L closantel for treatment and control of roundworms, liver fluke, nasal bot and itch mite in sheep. It has activity against barber's pole worm and 6 week sustained activity against closantel-susceptible barber's pole worm.
AVOMEC DUEL is formulated with a 50 g/L closantel concentration, which is higher than standard closantel sheep drenches delivering 10 mg/kg bodyweight versus 7.5 mg/kg delivered by other closantel formulations.*
The high levels of closantel absorbed into the sheep’s blood are important for good efficacy against the blood-feeding Barber’s Pole Worm and Liver Fluke.
In addition, AVOMEC DUEL formulation is also absorbed at a higher rate than other formulations, even when dosed at the same rate.#
