  • The convenience of a broad spectrum pour-on. 
  • Contains eprinomectin - studies have shown this to be the most potent endectocide available.

  • Weigh a representative sample of animals. 
  • Dose the mob according to the heaviest animal by live weight in the group.

  • Where there is a large variation in size within the group, draft into two or more lines based on bodyweight, to avoid excessive overdosing. 
  • The formulation should be applied along the topline in a narrow strip extending from the withers to the tailhead.
  • The dose rate is 1ml for each 10kg of live weight.

Mites (Sarcoptes scabiei var. bovis) 

Cattle Tick (Boophilus microplus) including organophosphate, synthetic pyrethroid and amidine resistant strains. Maximum efficacy is reached 4-5 days after treatment. Engorged female ticks that drop from cattle in the initial days after treatment may lay viable eggs. This should be taken into account when planning a strategic tick control program. IVOMEC Injection should be alternated with conventional dips or pour-ons when the program requires repeat treatments. IVOMEC Injection can be used at 28 day intervals in strategic tick control programs. Do not re-treat in less than 28 days.

Ivomec Plus controls adult liver fluke through the inhibition of glycolysis by the active Clorsulon. Clorsulon provides an alternative to triclabendazole treatments for fluke, providing a valuable rotation option.

Dual action parasite control with the benefit of : 

  • Board-spectrum treatment and control of roundworms, liver fluke, nasal bot and itch mite.

  • 6 weeks limitation of pasture contamination with faecal eggs of closantel-susceptible Barber's Pole Worm.

AVOMEC DUEL is formulated with a 50 g/L closantel concentration, which is higher than standard closantel sheep drenches delivering 10 mg/kg bodyweight versus 7.5 mg/kg delivered by other closantel formulations.* 

The high levels of closantel absorbed into the sheep’s blood are important for good efficacy against the blood-feeding Barber’s Pole Worm and Liver Fluke. 

In addition, AVOMEC DUEL formulation is also absorbed at a higher rate than other formulations, even when dosed at the same rate.

  • 1ml per 5 kg bodyweight drench delivering 0.2mg abamectin and 10mg closantel per kg. 
  • Ewes may be treated at any stage of pregnancy. 
  • Do not use in lambs under 6 weeks of age or less than 10kg bodyweight.

Sheep will be protected against re-infestation with lice for 5 weeks after treatment when applied within 24 hours of shearing. At the recommended dosage level, TRIGUARD provides treatment and control of the following sheep roundworms, sensitive to at least one of the three antiparasitic components of the product:
