Ivomec® Pour-On for Cattle - SDS

When used as directed, Ivomec® Pour-On treats and controls the following parasites of cattle*:

Gastrointestinal roundworms:

Adult and immature (L4):

  • Small Brown Stomach Worm (Ostertagia ostertagi) (including inhibited stages)
  • Barber’s Pole Worm (Haemonchus placei)
  • Stomach Hair Worm (Trichostrongylus axei)
  • Intestinal Hair Worm (T. colubriformis)
  • Small Intestinal Worm (Cooperia spp.)
  • Nodule Worm (Oesophagostomum radiatum)

Adult stages of:

  • Cooperia oncophora 
  • C. punctata
  • Oesophagostomum venulosum
  • Whipworm (Trichuris spp.)
  • Intestinal Threadworm (Strongyloides papillosus)

Immature stages of:

  • Thin Necked Intestinal Worm (L4) (Nematodirus spp.)

Withholding Periods

MEAT: DO NOT APPLY to cattle less than 42 days before slaughter for human consumption. 

DO NOT APPLY to deer less than 35 days before slaughter for human consumption.

MILK: When milk or milk products are to be used for human consumption do not administer to cows within 28 days prior to calving or during lactation.

EXPORT SLAUGHTER INTERVAL (ESI): 42 days.

Storage

Store below 30°C (room temperature). Store bottle in carton to protect from light.

Dose rate is 1ml/10kg bodyweight. Heavier animals (for example mature bulls) should receive an additional 5 mL for each 50 kg over 650 kg.
